Animal law

Article 1- The purpose of this Law; To ensure the comfortable lives of animals and their good and appropriate treatment, to ensure that animals are protected in the best way against pain, suffering and suffering and to prevent all kinds of victimization.

Scope

Definitions

Article 3- Of the terms used in this Law;

f) Unattended animal: Pets that do not have a place to shelter or are located outside the boundaries of the home and land of their owner or guardian and are not under the control or direct control of any owner or guardian,

g) Debilitated animal: Passenger and cargo animals that have lost their physical ability to work due to various reasons such as aging, mutilation, injury and illness, except for contagious and epidemic animal diseases,

h) Wild animal: Vertebrate and invertebrate animals that live freely in nature, which are not domesticated and not cultured,

ı) Domestic and ornamental animal: Any animal whose care and responsibility is undertaken by its owners, which are kept or intended to be kept or intended to be kept for private pleasure and companionship, especially at home, in workplaces or lands,

Principles

Article 4- The basic principles regarding the protection and comfortable living of animals are as follows:

c) Necessary precautions should be taken for the protection, care, care and keeping of animals away from maltreatment.

g) Protection of animals and ensuring their comfortable life; The hygiene, health and safety of humans and other animals should also be taken into account.

h) It is essential that animals are cared for, fed, housed and transported under conditions specific to their species.

ı) Those who transport and transport animals should carry them in suitable conditions and conditions, feed and care during transportation.

j) It is essential that local governments, in cooperation with voluntary organizations, establish animal shelters and hospitals for the protection of abandoned and incapacitated animals, provide their care and treatment, and conduct training activities.
